While there is no one-stop feature available for that, there are four different workarounds that will help you hide Instagram notes from certain followers.

Let’s have a look at each of those methods one by one.

1. Restrict The User

One of the easiest ways to hide Instagram notes from someone is by restricting them on the platform.

To restrict a user on Instagram, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1. Open Instagram and head over to the profile you want to hide from your Ig notes.

Step 2. Tap on the “…” (three dots) at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3. Tap on “Restrict,” and that account will have a restricted interaction with your profile.

Remember, when you restrict someone on Instagram, they won’t be able to see your Instagram notes, and there will be some other changes as well.

Apart from hiding Ig notes, the other user won’t be able to see when you’re online and when you have read their messages.

If they comment on your post, only that person and you will be able to see that comment. The other user also won’t be allowed to tag you in their posts.

2. Block The User

4. Share Instagram Notes With Close Friends

If none of the above methods suit you, you can create a close friend list on Instagram and share the notes with a close circle of friends whom you trust blindly.

Step 1. When sharing the notes, you will see a “Shared with” option at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2. Tap on that, choose “Close Friends,” and finally tap on “Done.”
